Liquid Eyeliners

Grace Davidson Sunday, May 5, 2013

Hello lovelies! Here are another e.l.f products that i'm going to write a review on. I know, you might think that I need to stop buying e.l.f products and shows some love on other brands. Don't worry, because I will eventually! Anyways, I pretty much use liquid eyeliner every time when i do my makeup. I just like its clean finish for my everyday makeup look  compare to gel liner or pencil liner. I got a 'black' color for everyday use, and 'copper' looked interesting when I first saw it so I brought it with me to check it out.

 e.l.f liquid eyeliners - Black & Copper

Its description describing the liquid eyeliner as a smudge-proof liquid liner, and fine tip brush creates easily defined and precise lines.

Here's my opinion on black liquid eyeliner. What i like about this eyeliner is that it's a smudge-proof liquid liner as it described on the back. I tried to rub it really hard to see if it comes out and guess what, it didn't.  I can create fine line to thick line without any problem. I like how the color is highly concentrate. I usually have to go over three times with my pen liner but with this one I don't have to go over another time to make it even- Love it! However, this isn't a water-proof. That's the only thing I dislike about this black liquid eyeliner.

Cooper isn't my favorite. I thought it will be more like black eyeliner but just in different color. As you can see in the swatch, It looks too watery. It reminds me of glitter glues that I used to use for decorating Christmas cards when I was young.  I mean, the watery stuff dries out after about 30sec, but still it's not evenly spread. The color is pretty but i want something that's more like eyeliner, not a card decoration glue.

  1. NYX has a liquid liner called Crystal Gold, very similar to Copper but that isn't as watery. MUA also has one that is pretty packed with glitter, but when I browsed their site to tell you the number is not there anymore, I guess they discontinued that line, that's too bad, they were decent : /

    1. That's sad that MUA discontinued it. I must try NYX's liquid liner! Thank you for your recommendation :)xx

  2. To me e.l.f. can be really hit or miss, their eye products aren't my favorite but I think their blushes are the best around! Thanks for the honest review :)

    1. You're very welcome Jordan. Yeah I love e.l.f products generally, but this eyeliner isn't my fav. I have their concealer brush & stippling brush. I love those! They are so soft.xx

  3. Wow I think the black liner is so pigmented, but it's a shame about the glitter. I agree about it looking like glitter clue :( although it's such a cheap price. I normally stick to the Studio line, rather than the mainstream line as I reckon the products are better quality.. or I'd hope so anyway :D lovely review, as ever xxxx

    1. Honestly, I really like the black liner but glitter one is just ...:( I didn't know they had different lines. Thank you for letting me know and thank you again for your comment Gemma! <3xx

  4. I know what you mean about glitter glue! It is a shame as I reckon with it being more 'fuller' it would make a gorgeous eye-liner for say, Christmas :)
