Moved! and Domain Change :)

Grace Davidson Saturday, September 27, 2014 0 comment
I've been moved - it has been pretty awhile that I made a change.
Just saw that I am still getting traffic to this blog. So I figured it's better to write a post, letting everybody know that I am moved to a different site and my domain has changed.
If anyone wants to come over to a new website -

Hello Kitty Compact Mirror

Grace Davidson Thursday, September 19, 2013 7 Comments

*This is not a review post.

A month ago I've designed a blog for my lovely friend, Latasha from Today I Adore. It was so fun to work on her design as she had clear idea on what she wants for her blog. She was truly nice and so patient with me whole time which I appreciated!

Today I've received a little surprise gift from her with a little note.  As soon as I saw it, I couldn't stop smiling just because I am a huge Hello Kitty FREAK!! I loved the colors and the little furry texture on the bow. Now I have two Hello Kitty compact mirrors and thinking of getting whole collection of them ;)

Again, thank you so so much Latasha. It is such a sweet gift, lovely! x

New Look @ Urban Hype Creative

Grace Davidson Thursday, September 19, 2013 4 Comments

Hello ladies. First of all, I missed blogging! I was working on my design shop from months and months ago, and finally managed to re-organize it with new look and new domain name.
urbanhypexo.com  to  urbanhypecreative.com !
But you can still use urbanhypexo.com since I've redirected the old domain to my new website ;)

I wanted to offer little individual items like social media icons to vector images etc for an instant download however I launched 'Urbanhypexo' on blogger platform in the beginning. I had hard time trying to build instant download section for it, so that's when I started to build my website on Wordpress for potential e-commerce business. It still look little rubbish, but i will tidy things up once i get a chance to work on my own website. As of right now, a little busy with other projects :) For now, I am happy with the result.

Another news regarding my design shop, I am going to offer custom Wordpress designs [blog, website and e-commerce] starting December. I've been getting quite a lot of requests for Wordpress blogs however because of the complexity of the codes/designs, I didn't have time for creating it over my school projects and others. Anyway, it's almost (in my opinion) end of the year and now I am finally getting a little room to breath! So if you are the Wordpress users, please keep check on my website :)! Until then, I will make some Premade ones on my shop!

Well, hopefully I can blog more often next month and if you are thinking of getting your blog a revamp, please check on my design website for more details on pricing/portfolio.

Thank you for reading and have a lovely week!x

Free Watercolor Labels

Grace Davidson Monday, September 9, 2013 5 Comments
Hello lovelies it's Monday! How's your Monday going? To me, Monday is the busiest day of the week. More projects from all different classes are assigned, have to clean home because our house is always massy after every weekend. Well, I can keep go on and on about how stressful I am on Monday but i should stop it now before it gets too anyoing! :)

I was actually working on my projects for design classes but I couldn't concentrate on it. I felt little sick sitting in front of my laptop since last night. So here I am taking a little break from study and all other stuff, decided to play with some watercolor. I personally love the look of watercolor wash/paintings.  I can proudly say that I am good with any other mediums such as oil/acrylic paints, pencil/color pencils, charcoal etc.. however to me, watercolors are one of the most difficult medium to play with.

Anyway, I was practicing some color blending and ended up making three watercolor labels.
It's free for personal use only. You might use these labels on your blog and more. You will be downloading .zip file that contains one .png (transparent background) and one .jpg (white background) images.

I hope you all enjoy this little thing and thank you for reading my little blog! ♥
You can download this file by clicking below download button.

Confetti & Glitter Love

Long time no nail polish post! I was cleaning up the house today and saw these pretty polishes that I've bought awhile ago. I don't take care of my nails as much as i did before so haven't look at my nail polish box for a few months.

I must have to tell you all that I don't wear much glittery nail polishes but some reason, I know it might sound silly, I love to buy these kinds of nail polish. Just having those make me happy.  I like to wear glitter ones on top of solid color. Such as pink/purple solid color polish under Spit Fire, maybe black under the Gold Star and more. So the Revlon Moon Candy polishes were perfect for me as it already paired with a solid & glitter.

What is the best glitter nail polish that you have?

What I love to see #2 | Clouds and Blah

Grace Davidson Monday, September 2, 2013 4 Comments

It seems like my blog is now 'less' focused on beauty and becoming more mixed-content maybe more personal posts.

I do have some beauty products that I have purchased and would like to share with you. But you all know that the product review can't be posted in matter of second.  Also as I mentioned in my previous post, I still didn't organized my time schedule for my blog, school, business and house work.  So as of right now I am trying my best to figure out when is the best time to write blog posts, work on my business, and of course studying. (Keep fingers crossed)

I want to take care of my blog more and write things up however everything was little overwhelmed last month. I'm a bit shocked to see that i only posted 8 times last month but oh well again, I'm not running my blog to impress anybody but me. For the blog wise, I have a strong feeling that my blog is going to be focus more on designs, personal events with a little bit of beauty related post until December. But I'm sure it's going to be all mixed up again in about few weeks with no 'clear' category.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that my blog might seems dead but I didn't quit blogging ;)

We had 3days weekend over here and I thought I could finally relax and getaway from all the works.
Of course I was wrong. I had to finish all the school works,  organizing the business, and you know- little this and that stuffs :x!

However it's so funny that even when my life going nuts with all these works, I always have some time to snap some photos of clouds or flowers. I just love to see pretty clouds.

P.S - Last night I saw two shooting starts.
P.P.S - It was my first time ever.
(not a lot of stars in Seoul cause of high buildings and bright lights 24/7)

Chloé Eau de Parfum Gift Set

Grace Davidson Tuesday, August 27, 2013 8 Comments
Chloe Eau de Parfume Gift Set - $120
Hello girls! It's been almost a week that I haven't post anything on my blog.(Oh no!) I tried to schedule some posts for the week however obviously I didn't (oops). Time passes so quick when you are busy! It's been a hectic week, quite lots of things are going on in my life right now.

Last week, I went back to school to expend my knowledge on web development & design to help my little hobby/business to grow little more professionally. All these time consuming projects are already trying to take over me.- It only has been a week but 5+ projects are due next week! Also had to deal with some unpleasant issue that recently occurred :(. So I am trying to manage myself to be more calm over stressful situations and i'd like to say a cup of coco water and writing a post helped me stay cool.

I think it's enough about personal mumble and bumbled. Thank you for reading though :)
Anyway about the purchase, I needed to repurchase my perfume few months ago. I had a hard time picking one out of the Viktor & Rolf Flower bomb and this one. I didn't get a chance to smell the Flower bomb and didn't want to take a chance, I went with Chloe again.

Normally the 2.5oz bottle cost $120 by itself however lucklily I found this 'deal' at Sephora website.
It's a gift set which includes 2.5oz perfume, lotion and mini bottle that I can carry in my bag.  When I wear this one, I get so many compliments and no joke, people ask about it all the time. On top of that I really love the scent. Honestly this one has been my favorite of all perfumes that I have and had, that's why I didn't hesitate to repurchase through online.  I spray this in the morning before I go to my class and it last until night before I go to bed without re spraying it. Also, the last time I had this perfume, it took me almost a year to use it all so the price isn't bad at all compare to how long it last.
I love it I love it and I love it.

Description:
Capturing the spirit of women, the Chloé vision is not about one singular woman, but rather about the rich and varied personalities of all Chloé women. This fresh, smooth floral fragrance evokes sublime powdery rose. The effect is chic, comfortable, and entirely addictive.

Top notes of pink peony, freesia, and lychee embody subtle freshness. At the heart, midnotes of magnolia flower, lily of the valley, and rose rise to sublimated femininity. A base of velvety elegance comes to fruition through cedarwood, amber, and honey.

Inspired by the details in Chloé's fashion, the flacon's heavy but softly curved and grooved glass reflects femininity and strength. The plated-silver top is embossed with the Chloé mark and adorned with a hand-tied ribbon.

Notes:
Pink Peony, Freesia, Lychee, Magnolia Flower, Lily of the Valley, Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Honey.
