No7 | Dual Action Tinted Moisturiser - Medium

 №7 Dual Action Tinted Moisturiser Medium Color 50ml - $11.99  £9.20

I've wanted to get Tinted Moisturizer because recently I get blemishes and little troubles around my face. So, I really didn't want to use thick & heavy foundation. I want my skin to be able to breath better even though I put  make up on. Anyways, the other day when I went to Target to get my pup's food, I picked up Sonia Kashuk Lip Crayon and this No7 Dual Action Tinted Moisturiser. I remember it only has three shades - fair, medium, dark. ( I picked Medium)

*My skin type is normal but sometimes it gets little oily around T-zone.

FYI- for those who still don't get the differences between tinted moisturizer and light foundation- Tinted moisturizer combine the functions of moisturizer, light foundation and sun care in one step. This is especially useful for those who apply their makeup in a hurry. However, it does not provide much coverage, so a concealer may still be needed as an added step to a makeup routine. Foundations, on the other hand, may provide a flawless finish even without concealer due to the heavier coverage it offers. Some foundations also contain an SPF for sun care and may cut down on steps in a makeup routine. Read more about Tinted moisturizer vs light foundation  here.

First of all, As I didn't expect it to have complete coverage, It only covered light blemishes, corrected and even out my skin tone which is perfect for summer.  I like to go to the beach and tan etc. I just love summer. But, every time when I go out I couldn't wear any make up on just because regular foundation always looks too much. It's just weird going to the beach with full make up on and only wearing foundation makes me look like really sick kind of..- some of you might know what I'm talking about. So, back to the point, this No7 tinted moisturiser don't have weird lubbery sunscreen smell, and it's not oily at all. I felt very comfortable putting this stuff on my face where little blemishes and troubles are(normally I don't feel comfortable putting foundation on!) So that's really good sign to me :)

Use : Since foundations offer more coverage than tinted moisturizers, they're used for occasions that call for a more polished look. Tinted moisturizers are more well-suited for a more natural look, which makes it an ideal choice for casual occasions such as going to the grocery. As the name also implies, tinted moisturizers are upgraded forms of moisturizers. These products let your skin breathe more than foundations like moisturizers do while still giving some color to your skin, thus making them more ideal for when you will be doing a lot of activities throughout the day.

Ingredients : Active Ingredients Avobenzone 3%, Octisalate 2%, Octocrylene 4%

  1. I'm glad you liked this, I do like a good BB cream I must admit.
I haven't used many foundation/tinted moisturisers by No7, however, my mom has their BB Cream and she really likes it.

  8. When I want a light coverage, I prefer using a BB cream. I've never been a fan of tinted moisturizers. I'm sure there are many great tinted moisturizers out there but I couldn't justify purchasing because I could easily mix a bit of my favorite foundation with my favorite moisturizer and get the same result without having to purchase another product but that's just me.

    1. :) Great comment! I love BB cream. Well, previously I tried to mix foundation and my moisturizer together but it didn't worked out for me well. I mean I can see your point though! But, since I'm too lazy to mix it every time, It's better for me to get a good tinted moisturiser that's ready to use xx
