e.l.f | Lip Exfoliator Clear

Grace @ No.21 Wednesday, April 17, 2013

As I mentioned on twitter the other day, E.L.F had 40% sale so I purchased bunch of their products online and finally got it today! I always have dry and flaky lips. When I use lip balm, seems like it only make my lips calm & smoother for several hours and goes back to dry and flaky.  So when I saw this item on their website, I was thinking I should try it since their products are worth more than its cost and I had such good impressions with e.l.f's nail polishes that I bought.

It definitely exfoliated ugly stuff from my lips. It has little hard sugary stuff inside of oily-balm that scrubs dry and chapped skin. My lips are really smooth and less-flaky after I used. I think that one time exfoliating my lips is better than applying lip balm for many times during the day. I quite satisfy with the result I got with this Lip Exfoliator and now can't wait to apply some 'matte' lipsticks!

Product description : Gently exfoliate lips to remove dry, chapped skin with our Lip Exfoliator! A sweet sugar and smoothing sensation, infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to nourish and protect. This Lip Exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel.

Ingredients : Sugar, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Ceresin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Tocopherol, Aspartame, Fragrance.

How to use : Apply to clean, damp lips and massage in a circular motion to exfoliate. Use a moistened cotton pad with water to gently wipe away scrub. Follow with a lip balm or gloss to condition.

  1. I'm definitely going to look into this one.

I have dry, peel-y lips that nothing seems to work with, even the pricy products. My main reason why I won't wear lipstick, it just clings, or even worse, makes my lips far more drier than they were.

  11. I love the convenient packaging of this exfoliator. I've been seeing a few new ELF products that I find appealing. I've noticed that they're really stepping up their game though I'm not a big fan of the brand itself due to their lack of ethics toward bloggers and the inconsistencies in their products.

    1. Yeah I agree,I can just put it in my pouch and doesn't look weird. I've found some of their products to be 'okay' but I was so impressed and in love with their nail polishes. I'm not the biggest fan of e.l.f neither but since the price is so low so thought that it's good to try and be experimental!:)xx
