Benefit's Benetint

Grace Davidson Sunday, June 9, 2013

When I was in high shcool in Korea, all the girls were not allowed to wear any makeup but who listens to that? Everyone was wearing a light weight BB cream (Misha was so popular back then..), along with barely noticeable lip tint. No eyeliner, no mascara just to give a little bit of aliveness on the face. Why am i talking about this? Well, I'm trying to tell you lovelies that this Benefit's benetint was one of my holygrail makeup items since then!

I've been using this fabulous lips/cheeks tint for several years and still in love with it. Honestly I didn't use it often as i did before after bleached my hair to lighter color just because I was in the zone of blonzers (blush+bronzer in one.) However, after colored my hair back to dark, I am opt for this benetint again. I look so dead when i'm bare face. So when I don't want to wear full makeup or too lazy, I just pick this up, and put several dots on my cheeks, lips and blend with my finger.

I really like its soft rosy flowery smell. I felt like this tint stay less longer on my lips for somehow but I really don't mind re-applying it. I feel like every lip products are same. You have to re-apply anyways after when you go out and eat, drink and stuff or is it just me?

Anyway, really I would recommend this for any who like to wear something everyday that's not too heavy/bold and for natural makeup look.

  1. When I was younger, I used to use something similar to Benetint too.
Just to give flush cheeks and bitten lips look.

    I haven't tried Benetint though.

  2. I haven't tried benetint, but getting on the track of cream blushes and liquid blushes, I feel like I should get on the bandwagon with this one. xx

  5. I've never tried the benetint because it seems so similar to the tony moly one! But perhaps I should...
I'm always too scared to put the tints on my cheeks because I always think it will come out too dark! Maybe I should just go for it though!
    Thanks for this!

    1. Tony moly was kind of new brand when I left my country. Only product I've tried was gel eyeliner which I really liked. Anyway this think won't look dark on your skin though I found it's really light and barely noticeable if you blend it well! xx

  8. Maybe it's just me but when I swatched it at Sephora, I felt like it stained way too quickly and ended up looking blotchy on my hand so the first impression I got from it was pretty discouraging. I was afraid to have blotches of color on my cheeks.

  12. Out of all the lip tints I have tried, and had my lips gotten all dried up, Benefit lip tints are my favourite. They aren't very uncomfortable and just look so natural and beautiful. x

  13. I've wanted to try something like a tint for ages but I've always been a tad afraid as I thought they would be a little messy as I can be a bit clumsy sometimes. This looks really nice though :D
