Ugh, I hate when this thing happen.. I had to go out with my mom to pick something up this afternoon. For that reason, I woke up earlier than usual. I really didn't want to go out in this beautiful weather without any makeup so I started to apply some makeup on. As I applying my foundation, I was so satisfied how it glides on my face and looks flawless without concealer because I usually had to use it afterward to hide my blemishes.
Anyway, It must got on my hand when I applied eyeliner. I tried to move my hair back that was in the way.. and bam! The black stuff got on my cheek. It happened so quick! I was a bit pissed. If it was a normal day when I don't really care about foundation and stuff, I probably and immediately grab my makeup wipe and wipe it off and re-do. But since I really liked how my foundation look on me today, i had to think if i want to re-do or cover it up.. Well, long story short, I went out with this black line on my cheek. The end. No, I was just playing.. So, i rubbed it with my finger carefully to see if this line will come out and luckily it did without looking dirty and smudged!
I know many of you have had this experiences at least once. Every time when this 'makeup disaster' happen, what do you usually do?

Ugh this is soo frustrating, happens to me far too often!
ReplyDeleteI usually just go back with foundation on that place after removing the mishap.
I was afraid to go back with foundation since I applied powder on top of original foundation and was worried if it would make it look caked up. Oh yeah, it sure is frustrating!
DeleteMy eyelashes are sparse but long, so they often get mascara all over my eyeshadow. I usually just wait for it to dry and try to carefully remove mistakes with a cotton swab. The hard part is waiting, especially if you have somewhere to be!
ReplyDeleteOh compare to your story, my bottom lashes are really short and when i try to apply some mascara on it, it gets all over my skin. I agree, even I'm not in hurry, I don't have a patient to wait for it lol
DeleteI most usually mess up my eyeliner... I only tend to do liner on my upper lash line if I'm going out or something just because I always worry that this will happen.
ReplyDeleteI usually fix any problems fairly quickly with a cotton bud or a baby wipe but it's still so annoying!

I usually get eyeliner or mascara on my mirror xD
ReplyDeleteHahaha, oh god, I hate when something like this happens! When I apply my liner or mascara and then something gets on my finger but I don't know... and then it gets on my face -__- I hate it! I always try to rub it off and most of the time it gets away easily! :D
ReplyDeleteOh no I bet you were gutted :( things like this always happen to me too haha. I wear eyeliner everyday so these things always happen :) xx
ReplyDeleteI have done this far too often but at the top of my eyelids as my eyelashes are quite long so sometimes I can end up with crazy lengths where the mascara gets on my eyelids....not a good look!

I hate it when that happens to me too! It usually happens with my mascara getting splotches everywhere. Usually when it does though, I just take a little makeup remover and try to remove that area only. And then reapply whatever foundation on that area.

I hate it when things like this happens, especially when the base is unusually flawless! Good to hear that you could get it off without having to redo your base! xx
