Long time no nail polish post! I was cleaning up the house today and saw these pretty polishes that I've bought awhile ago. I don't take care of my nails as much as i did before so haven't look at my nail polish box for a few months.

I must have to tell you all that I don't wear much glittery nail polishes but some reason, I know it might sound silly, I love to buy these kinds of nail polish. Just having those make me happy.  I like to wear glitter ones on top of solid color. Such as pink/purple solid color polish under Spit Fire, maybe black under the Gold Star and more. So the Revlon Moon Candy polishes were perfect for me as it already paired with a solid & glitter.

What is the best glitter nail polish that you have?

Pastel Nail Polishes

Grace Davidson Friday, June 28, 2013 24 Comments
  Revlon - Buttercup 100 | Revelon - Lilac Pastelle 185 | Hard Candy - Sky

My love for pastel colors does not stop even in summer. Usually, I get tired of bold colors easily compare to pastel colors. Since I don't take care of my nails regularly, I needed something that I can wear for longer time without getting tired of its color.

I do use my hands a lot so my nails always peel so quickly like in three days or so. The worst part of it is that I am too lazy to take it off and for that reason ugly half-peeled nail polish remains on my nails forever until I feel like apply some new colors- that's when I find the polish on single nail is completely disappeared.

I must say, I've been quite impressed with the quality of these nail polishes. All three of these polishes glossy enough, and long lasting. Normally I can keep my nails perfect for three days, with these ones I can retain peel-free nails at least for a week. Of course, when I use a top-coat on top of it, It last longer.

I know Essie has some gorgeous pastel shades, however, I haven't purchased them yet. I need to get my hands on it soon! Anyway, you can find these atWalmart, Target as well as local drug stores.

Summer Nail Polishes

Grace Davidson Friday, May 31, 2013 17 Comments

Snow Me White  |  Soul Mate   |  Summer Escape

It's been so hot lately! I don't even want to go out when it is super hot outside that I can't even sit on my car and grab the handle. I feel like going to places where it's cooler, something like beach every single day. But as of right now I can't go to the beach as much as i want due to the fact that I'm away from my house where the beach is 5 minutes away. It takes about 4hours drive from here, where I am right now. 5minutes to 4hours.. CRAZY!

Anyway,  let's start the post. I didn't bring any nail polishes with me while I'm traveling so I had to go out and get few of them.  I purchased it about weeks ago in May, but since the weather was so hot I felt like it was already Summer. Usually when I pick nail polishes, I'm not a big fan of glitter polishes so I go with either neutral, muted pastel, or really bright neon colors. I went mostly for Sinful Colors because my first nail polish from SC was so good, which was matte neon pink called '24/7'. I got colors - 'snow me white' and 'soul mate.' It dried so quick, seemed like stayed longer, not a lot of chipping, and very low price. The color you are looking is what you are going to get on your nails.

Bright Neon Orange color  'Summer Escape' is from Salon Perfect. This was my first nail polish from SP so I had no clue on how the color will turn on my nails. Color that shows in the bottle is accurate. When I applied it, it looked like matte nail polish. But after when it dried completely, it turned as a bit glossy.

Overall, I love using these nail polishes due to the fact that these are dry so quick and their low prices. Colors were very pretty which I'm very satisfied with it.

NOTD - Flowers

Grace Davidson Tuesday, May 7, 2013 10 Comments

I don't really take care of my nails as much as my skin but sometimes I want to try things. I can't even remember when is the last time I used nail polish. Probably a month ago! Anyway, I'm into 'flowers' recently and I just can't resist. This flower nails are fairly easy to create.

All you need to do is pick four colors that you like to use for base color for your nails (lighter color is recommended), base color for flowers (I used dark red-ish pink), color for the flower petals (I used natural nude color), and for the last, color for the leaves (I used mint-cream color). All nail polishes except base color for my nails is from e.l.f cosmetic and the base color is from sally hansen's xtream wear.

How to :
Color your nails with the base color of your choice and let it dry. For the shape, create 3 to 4 middle size imperfect circles on each nails to create base color for the flower and wait about a minute to dry.  After when the first step is done, place 2 to 3 smaller dots (doesn't have to be perfect!) around the base flower and again, wait to dry for a minute. Now, it's almost done! When the second step is done, create leaves by dotting 1 to 2 little dots around your flower base & the petals. Let it dry, top coat it if you want and thaadaaa you are done!

e.l.f Nail Polish | Smokin Hot

Grace Davidson Monday, April 1, 2013 10 Comments

I normally don't wear things red. I like color red, but It is just too much for me to wear. Well, I think today was the day that I actually want to try red and be bold! I did not own any red color nail polish until I ordered 14 nail polish set from e.l.f . I've never tried e.l.f 's nail polishes so I just wanted to try and see how they are as a beauty consumer and finally I got to try one of them today.

Well, I am very impressed by its quality. I think they've been doing really great job on their nail polish. Why? I just painted one coat of nail polish. Only one single coat! Some nail polishes that i've purchased, I have to coat my nails at least two to get a nice and even color. They are more pricy than this e.l.f 's nail polish. Now, I can't wait to try other colors because it dried like a magic. Also, I didn't even used my top coat and it's so shiny! It is just so awesome since I don't like to wait so long to make sure every single nails are dry and ready to do stuff. I highly recommend this product. All i want to say is reasonable price with high quality product.
Do you own any e.l.f nail polishes? What's your favorite nail polish brand?

e.l.f Haul

Grace Davidson Saturday, March 30, 2013 13 Comments

Here's a few bits I purchased through online last week. I was waiting and waiting for these to come home for many days and usually when the mail man comes, he doesn't knock the door. So, I did not know that my package was sitting in front of my door for whole day (I was at home all day yesterday and didn't go out for a single step..) Anyways, I am very excited to do a review about these nail polishes as well as sleek eyeshadow palette

Sinfulcolors nail polish | 24/7

Grace Davidson Wednesday, February 20, 2013 4 Comments

I used to do my nails at least three times a week. I purchased a lot of nail polish and care stuffs but got lazy nowadays. I really don't care about polishing it anymore and etc.. So, I try to care/polish more often! I am so into PINK recently and summer is coming, decided to polish my nail with this neon pink color from sinfulcolors.

I got this polish long times ago so I really don't remember where i got it from.
This is more like neon matte type color. Since it is matte type, it drys super quick which  i love about it( I don't have patient for waiting!) But, I want it to look like glossy neon pink, I used glossy top coat from L.A colors Diamond topcoat.
